My LiFe battery is totally flat, how can I charge these?
Please note:
It is bad to let a LiFe go completely flat and this can cause damage to the battery so please find out what is draining it and disconnect when not in use.
In some instances these batteries need ‘jump starting’, meaning you’ll need to disconnect and reconnect the charger to get it into a charging state. Once its charging just let it do what it needs to do until its full. A good charger will indicate when the battery is fully charged.
I’m not going to use this battery for a while, how can I store it?
Simple! Charge to around 40% then disconnect and remove your terminals, then store your battery as you would with any other. With no draw this should minimise any potential discharge.
